Clear Alder

Alder is a softer hardwood that can have a light yellow or light red undertone. Clear alder is uniform in appearance and is a great surface for stain or paint. This versatility makes it a universally great material for your kitchen, bathroom, or specialty cabinets.

CLEAR ALD

Knotty Alder

Knotty alder is wood from the same tree as clear alder but is selected for natural characteristics like knots and burls. Alder has a light yellow or light red undertone and accepts stain really well. Whether you opt for a dark or light stain, knotty alder’s imperfections create beautifully rustic cabinets.

Walnut

Walnut is a luxurious tight-grained wood. It resists warping and suffers little shrinkage. Walnut is known for its beautiful coffee-colored heartwood. The sapwood is a creamy white walnut which is blended or removed (depending on the stain colour chosen). Dark walnut will lighten over time as it is exposed to light, but it won’t adopt a golden hue. If you want to add depth and an organic feel to your home (without warm undertones), opt for the richness of walnut cabinetry.

Cherry

Cherry has a straight, fine grain with uniform texture and beautiful warm tones. Cherry wood can vary significantly, from reddish-brown to greenish-brown. These cabinets will increase in warmth and richness over time as they are exposed to light. Natural gum streaks can be visible on cherry wood for all stain colours. Cherry is favored by those who love the natural beauty and richness of wood, especially as it ages.

Maple

Maple is known for its smooth, fine-grain pattern and overall colour consistency. There are subtle natural characteristics and colour variations. But overall, maple cabinets are light and uniform in appearance. Over time, maple cabinets will patina and become more golden, however, this process is slower and not as dramatic as other wood species. If you love lighter wood tones, maple cabinetry is a classic choice.

Oak

Oak is an exceptionally stable and durable hardwood. The porous, open grain creates cathedral arches and distinctive patterns that are beautifully highlighted as stain is absorbed. Small pin knots and mineral streaks may be visible depending on the stain colour chosen. This timeless wood can be stained in a variety of colours from warm honey tones to neutral brown shades. Oak will deepen in colour as it ages, making this wood a classic choice for cabinetry.

OAK

White Rift Oak

White rift oak is characterized by the tight, even grain pattern created by the 60-degree cutting angle used to create boards. While made from the same tree as standard oak, the appearance is distinctly modern when compared to the traditional oak we know and love. White rift oak is a light-medium wood with an olive-brown cast, and it changes very little in colour as it ages. If you are looking to add an organic touch to your space, white rift oak cabinetry is a contemporary choice.

HDF

High-density fibreboard (HDF) is an engineered product composed of wood fibers, formed with heat and pressure. HDF is the strongest of all fibreboards and its smooth, uniform texture makes it ideal for painted finishes. If you love a bright white cabinet or want to experiment with some colour, our HDF cabinets are a great choice.

Exotic Veneer

A wood veneer is made up of a thin layer of natural or engineered hardwood that is then bonded to a stable composite base material. The beauty of wood veneer is the wide range of grain patterns available. For example, grain matching gives the illusion of one continuous piece of wood, while mixed-matched grain gives a completely different look. This unique material offers ultra-modern cabinet solutions.
